Hopefully I can announce my new job today.
Posted by Shane on March 30th, 2007 filed in WorkFor the last four weeks I have been going through interview after interview to get a role with a global IT vendor. The company has around 50 000 employees and that’s all I’m going to say on who the company is at this stage. I have to say it has been the most intense interview process I have been through, however if all other employees have been through this process then it can’t be too bad of a team once I get onboard.
The role will covers the Queensland & Northern New South Wales area and will involve more travel than I currently am doing for Loop. However I also get to travel to San Francisco for indoctrination into the company, which is something I’m looking forward to as I have never been to main land USA. The closest I have gotten in a month stay at Hawaii when I was in the army. The down side to travel to San Francisco is it will be during the Auscert week and I’ll miss the best IT Security focused industry event for Australia. Oh well that the price you pay.
So anyone reading this drivel OI promise write something though provoking in the near future, I just trying to get myself into the habit of updating my blog on a regular bases. Content will be the next focus should I manage to turn posting to the blog a habit.
Cheers
Shane
